SINCEREST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF KENNETH RATUSHNY: Kenny passed away recently after a long illness. Cheryl, Marianne, Michael, and the entire family are in our prayers. Wieczny odpoczynek racz Mu dać, Panie, a światłość wiekuista niechaj Mu świeci. Niech odpoczywa w pokoju. Amen.

PLEASE KEEP IN YOUR PRAYERS: Kasia, the daughter of Joanna Pylat (Polish University Abroad), who has been visiting and working with our parish, including the recent pop-up museum. Kasia is a medical doctor in London. Unfortunately, she has contracted COVID-19, and has been feeling ill for the past week. POLSKIE PIESNI WIELKANOCNE
Zwycięzca śmierci, piekła i szatana
wychodzi z grobu dnia trzeciego z rana.
Naród niewierny trwoży się, przestrasza
na cud  Jo-na-a-sza. A-al-le-lu-ja!
Ziemia się trzęsie, straż się grobu miesza,
anioł zstępuje, niewiasty pociesza:
"Patrzcie, tak mówi, grób ten próżny został,
Pan zmartwychpowstał." Alleluja!

Otrzyjcie już łzy płaczący,
żale z serca wyzujcie
Wszyscy w Chrystusa wierzący,
weselcie się, radujcie.
Bo zmartwychwstał samowładnie,
jak przepowiedział dokładnie.
Alleluja, alleluja,
Niechaj zabrzmi –alleluja!

Wesoły nam dzień dziś nastał,
Którego z nas każdy żądał:
Tego dnia Chrystus zmartwychwstał,
Alleluja, Alleluja!

Król niebieski k`nam zawitał,
Jako śliczny kwiat. zakwitał:
Po śmierci się nam pokazał.
Alleluja, Alleluja

This English-language version was shared by Basia Filipowska, a friend of our parish in Edmonton:

Let us pray, that Christ the Lord, ever present among those who love Him, may bless this food for the Easter table.

A moment of silence

Christ, The Living Bread,
you came down from heaven and
gave the gift of the Eucharist to the world.
Bless our bread + that recalls both the manna
with which the Father fed the Israelites
as they wandered in the desert,
and the bread with which you miraculously fed
those who followed you in the wilderness.

Lamb of God,
you who conquered death
and redeemed us from our sins,
bless + the meats, sausages, and all the foods
that we eat in memory of the Paschal Lamb,
who shared the Passover meal
with His Apostles at the last Supper.

Bless the salt + and,
as salt keeps food from spoiling,
protect us from the corruption of sin.

Christ, our life and our hope,
bless + the eggs,
a symbol of new life,
that we will share with
family, friends and guests
and thus, share with them
the joy of your presence among us.
Invite us to your eternal feast,
the heavenly banquet,
where You live and reign forever and ever.

All: Amen
