It happens weekly here at our church. The atmosphere is very friendly and people of different generations and backgrounds are here for a nutritious meal and conversations. Free of charge or donate what you can. Wednesdays from 11:30am to 1:00pm. All welcome.

NEW POLISH CONSUL GENERAL DARIUSZ WIŚNIEWSKI will be visiting us on November 24 and 25 and is looking forward very much to meeting us.

TRANSLATION OF TODAY’S SECOND READING FROM HEBREWS 4:14-16: Brothers and sisters: Since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.

PRAYER TO ST. JOHN PAUL II FOR PEACE ON THE OCCASION OF HIS FEAST DAY: St. John Paul II …Pray for the whole world, which is still marked by tensions, wars and injustice. You tackled war by invoking dialogue and planting the seeds of love: pray for us so that we may be tireless sowers of peace. St. John Paul, from heaven's window, where we see you next to Mary, send God's blessing down upon us all. Amen.

“Spend time before the Lord in contemplation, and do everything possible for the Lord at the service of others. Contemplation and service: this is our path of life.” – A recent message on Twitter from Pope Francis
