DOŻYNKI POLISH HARVEST FESTIVAL: Today Sunday, October 14th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Polish Village Hall. We will have Polish food, a small Polish market, dance and folk song demonstrations, and children's games! There is no admission charge. Everyone is welcome. Please spread the word. Zapraszamy!

VOLUNTEERING FOR TODAY'S DOŻYNKI HARVEST FESTIVAL: There are still some roles we need to fill today. If you can spare a couple of hours, please speak with Tom Urbaniak after Mass. Thanks for all the assistance and hard work!

FLEA MARKET IN OUR SALA 1050 (hall attached to church): Saturday, October 27, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Proceeds to building fund.

OUR ANNUAL PRE-CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: November 10 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Polish Village Hall. Multiple vendors (tables have been fully booked!) and many one-of-a-kind items! Please spread the word!

JUBILEE GOSPEL SOUL SINGERS: this Tuesday at 6:00pm at Menelik Hall with Christine Hahn & The Inspirational Singers, Deanie Cox, Gideon Lucas, David Lougheed, Ian MacIntyre and guest Mike Morrison. This is a tribute to the late Eddie Parris. Admission is $10.

WAŁBRZYCH PARTNER CITY STEERING COMMITTEE: Next meeting October 24 at 4:00pm at CBU. This committee, which includes parish representatives, is coordinating CBRM’s new partnership with Wałbrzych, Poland. For more information, please call 902-563-1226.

COMMUNITY KITCHEN PROJECT: Thanks to everyone who has been helping out! This is a collaborative project – a service to the community -- of our parish and other local faith communities and organizations, arising from a need identified on our recent community development walks. It happens weekly here at our church. The atmosphere is very friendly and people of many ages and backgrounds are here for a good meal and conversation. Free of charge or donate what you can. Wednesdays from 11:30am to 1:00pm. All welcome.

MASS FOR SHUT-INS BEGINS ITS NEW SEASON TODAY: Best wishes to our parishioners Sophie and Roddie who are longtime volunteers for this important service to the community, with a wide viewership.

REMEMBRANCE DAY: On Sunday, November 11 we will pray for our veterans and also mark the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, which is a designated major anniversary.

NEW POLISH CONSUL GENERAL DARIUSZ WIŚNIEWSKI will be visiting us on November 24 and 25 and is looking forward very much to meeting us.
