“IMIENINY” (NAME DAYS) FOR THE COMING WEEK. Help to maintain a longstanding Polish Catholic tradition by acknowledging relatives, friends, and colleagues who are celebrating their “name day,” corresponding with the feast day of a saint of the same name.  Where there is more than one saint of the same name who has been assigned a day, your “name day” is the one closest to your birthday. It is customary in the Polish tradition to acknowledge the name day of a relative or friend:
March 6: Eugenia, Jordan, Klaudian, Róża, Wiktor
March 7: Felicja, Paweł, Tomasz
March 8: Beata, Jan, Julian
March 9: Dominik, Franciszka, Katarzyna
March 10: Aleksander, Cyprian
March 11: Benedykt, Edwin, Konstantyn, Rozyna

On the day after the Passover, they ate of the produce of the land in the form of unleavened cakes and parched grain. On that same day after the Passover, on which they ate of the produce of the land, the manna ceased. No longer was there manna for the Israelites, who that year ate of the yield of the land of Canaan.
